Entertainingly Insightful

I was keen to get the chance to read this book. I am happy to say I was not disappointed with it at all. On the contrary, I found what he had to say to be very wise(not to mention entertaining and humorous in parts where it should be and serious at times where it called for). I especially liked how he talked about South Africa specific issues-ones that I was not personally familiar with as I am from America. I think his voice is strong and worth listening to, and I'm curious to see if there will be a second book in the future.

One of the best books I've read

Im a fiction lover sort of person,and this was my first book on "opinion writing" I was a bit sceptical on buying it, i mean fine, his tweets are hillarious, so I bought the book and I must say, I was not disapointed!!! I was on the floor more than half the time! Very witty book and at the same time, quite insightful and deep. 5 stars!! Very humorous page turner, I couldnt put it down!! Waiting IMpatiently for book 2 :)

Could have been better

The book deals with the humor side of the South African issues and the author shares his 'arrogant' opinion, whilst I appreciated the humor I felt that he could have gone deeper as the material is readily available. Waking up in SA is a story that can be written and enjoyed by many. I strongly believe that Khaya is a good writer and he could have done better.
